Etodolac+thiocolchicoside is used to treat osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, pain, and muscle spasms. Etodolac blocks the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme that makes another chemical, prostaglandins, which are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling.
